Therapeutic Horsemanship
Each lesson is 50 minutes in length and will cover:
· 35 minutes of riding (if riding) and 15 minutes of horsemanship skills
OR
· 50 minutes of horsemanship skills (if not riding)
Therapeutic Horsemanship Requirements
· ASTM certified horseback riding helmet (provided by The Equine Connection)
· Appropriate footwear
· Therapist and/or Physician approval
· Rider weight limit of 170lbs
Therapeutic Riding
Each lesson is 50 minutes in length and will cover:
· 25-30 minutes of riding
· 15-20 minutes for horsemanship skills

We now offer 25 minute sessions for children 5 years and under!

Equine Assisted Learning
Each lesson is 60 minutes in length and will cover:
· 60 minutes of ground-based personal development using horses
Equine Assisted Learning Requirements
· Therapist and/or Physician approval
· An open mind
· Willingness to try something “out of the box”
